intended 1.0

this is what results when I have internet access on the same machine as my recording setup...

finally really working on my new song again. I think I might call it "my name is intended and unintended" this is the best title I've come up with so far.
this evening, I worked on the beginning. I'm using tons of clips of people saying my name and I created this cool intro that has these 'halseys' jumping around all over the place, getting crazy and building up and then this rhythm falls out of it all. it's nice. I think it will work.
and now I'm working on putting this rhythmically stilted solo distorted flute sound over the third chorus. I recorded in loop record and got around ten takes of this four bar pattern I think I'll extend the section to eight bars and use two of the clips sequentially. maybe I'll play around with panning. that would be good.
it lags behind the beat. I played it on the malletKAT and it seems to add a nice organic sound to this part. something that isn't programmed tightly. the timpani below trading motives with the kick drum is also a cool effect, I think, but it's much improved with this line over the top of the whole thing. the ear goes to that line and the rhythm below fits in better in a supportive role.
