going cordless
The booth is no longer tied to a power cord. I can now set it up in locations far far away from any signs of civilization. Whether or not I actually want to do this is another matter. But at least I can. And there is something to be said for that, right?
I will be giving the Husky a trial run at Oktoberfest this Sunday as my power options were depleted at the last minute. Don't worry, this event will be smack in the middle of civilization...
Did you ever do the experiment where you plugged a 100W light bulb into it to see how long it lasts? ;-)
Posted by: g0nz0 at October 13, 2005 10:20 AMyeah, a 60-watt bulb lasts for about three hours, and my vornado fan goes for two hours on medium speed. Once I switch to LED lighting, there should be enough power for any event I can come up with as long as it isn't super hot.
