The booth is no longer tied to a power cord. I can now set it up in locations far far away from any signs of civilization. Whether or not I actually want to do this is another matter. But at least I can. And there is something to be said for that, right?
Husky Portable Power Center
I will be giving the Husky a trial run at Oktoberfest this Sunday as my power options were depleted at the last minute. Don't worry, this event will be smack in the middle of civilization...

Did you ever do the experiment where you plugged a 100W light bulb into it to see how long it lasts? ;-)
yeah, a 60-watt bulb lasts for about three hours, and my vornado fan goes for two hours on medium speed. Once I switch to LED lighting, there should be enough power for any event I can come up with as long as it isn't super hot.
I'd love to know how long it can power an ipod and a portable boom box. Neither of those should consume too much juice ... and it would be sweet to bring camping tunes that lasted for the weekend.
