alive and well
Over the past half a year or so (I can't believe it has been that long), I have been working on devising methods to bring my music to the live stage. There were personnel questions, technology hurdles, arrangement decisions and many other issues that needed to be worked out, but I am very pleased to say that I have made it to the beta, if you will, of aesthetic evidence LIVE.
I can safely say that there is no possible way I could have accomplished this without the extraordinary skills and enthusiasm of Mr. Peter Bailey, who plays electric and MIDI guitar as well as provides technical and musical input on just about everything. I have learned an incredible amount about sampling technologies and software-based methods of augmenting live performance which have all been key to enabling all this to happen as well.
I put together a webpage that includes more information about our live performance, including a video of us playing 'Predictable?'.
Enjoy:

I am in the process of lining up performance dates locally, so hopefully you will all have the opportunity in the near future to attend. Also, we will be performing with a variety of to-be-determined additional musicians at the Forsythe Chapel at Forest Hills Cemetery in late October. We'll be performing the piece I wrote for the summer exhibit at the cemetery, One Hundred and Four Thousand, as well as selected other songs. You'll see much more about that on these pages as the time gets closer.
