Art Radio
As part of my upcoming BYOV event at P.S.1 in NY, I was interviewed for WPS1, the internet radio station of P.S.1 and MoMA. They put together a 30 minute piece of interview snips along with a bunch of my music. You can see their brief intro and link to the audio from here:
WPS1 is a really cool resource for some interesting and rarely heard types of programming, so you should check out their archives as well as their current media stream for a host of programs you probably never knew existed, but will be glad to discover.
From their website: "WPS1 features talk radio styled discussions and interviews with artists, authors, musicians, actors, filmmakers, critics, curators, poets, educators, journalists, media experts, and other cultural leaders, innovators, and challengers. The station also carries a unique and important collection of music assembled by a team of music curators. This material ranges from live recordings of the widely acclaimed P.S.1 summer Warm Up series of DJ dance sets to rare recordings and surveys of experimental and adventurous music both new and old and from near and far. WPS1 also broadcasts historic recordings from university and private collections and from the audio archives of the Museum of Modern Art; presents live remote programs from festivals including Art Basel Miami Beach, The Armory Show, Performa, and the Venice Biennale; and frequently carries public events hosted by partnering cultural institutions from New York and elsewhere."
You'll never get through it all, but it will be fun and eye-opening to try!
